If someone's internet usage could be used against them in a court of law, would you view online discussions differently?

Anything a person does on the internet should not at all be treated differently than actions outside of it and I think courts and police should take the actions on the internet more into account that what is currently done. This also means that for anything which is done in the Internet there should be a legal way for courts to find the person behind it. But that doesn't meant that people should not be allowed to be anonymous on the internet but only that there must be a way to find the origin of illegal activities which must only be used when demanded by a court.
