Should the church tax be abolished?
A church tax is a tax imposed on members of some religious congregations in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Sweden, some parts of Switzerland and several other countries.
No, but provide the opportunity to opt-out for those who do not want to take part.

Yes, the system should be updated, and a model such as that in Norway pr Belgium would be preferable, where all religious groups receive tax money depending on number of adherents but there are conditions (no cultish behavior, no money if sex offenders are not remitted to justice,...)
Yes, and other government subsidies too

Religious organizations should pay for their own maintenance, and if there is a need for expense by the state for the organization the said organization should be required to pay tax.

Yes, but provide tax relief for church donations
So long as the churches are evidenced to be charitable within the areas and communities they serve.
If a religious organization acts as a for profit, they should be taxed. If they act as a non-profit, they should not be taxed.
@973R3GG1yr1Y
Yes, and churches shall be taxed for all economic activities and not ever subsidized by government
Yes, but churches should pay taxes
@8S9YSKW3yrs3Y
Believers should pay for their beliefs.
The church tax should be reformed to a "social fee", which can be used to donate to humanitarian organisations, churches, etc. of your choice
@99G2ZRR1yr1Y
Yes, but only if the church acts as a charity and provides welfare to the public.
