Not much. I’ve been around languages I don’t understand and it doesn’t matter much to me

I feel as if people should be free in there right to speak a different language but be required to learn a basic leave in school if there don't already know german

I feel like I need to learn the languages because English is not everyone’s first languages this country

 @9QYCC4WVolt Germany from Washington  answered…10mos10MO

It is the person‘s responsibility to learn the language of which they’re going to live, and perhaps teach other people their language and expand their horizons

There are so many languages in the world, it’s beautiful to hear so many.

I don’t feel anything. I think people should be able to speak whatever language they wish.

First I wonder what language it is, then I wonder if people are talking about me. I think this is just from natural curiosity.

I am happy that my country has a multiethnic composition. I find languages interesting and fascinating, and it is nothing but good for a country's culture and community to have multiple ethnitic groups represented.

Not at all, because I hear languages that I don't understand all the time since I work a lot with people from many different countries.

I feel that people who speak different languages they should have the same rights as any other citizen but should be encouraged to learn the local language

 @9K4L3FZfrom Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

I don't understand them because I don't speak the language and I think they're talking **** about me.

 @9K39GG2Free Democraticfrom Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

I get confused but it makes sense because there are a lot of different cultures and languages. We should probably still have one official language though because that would incentivize people to learn the language, making communication easier and reducing barriers.

I am fine with that as long as they are not preparing something against the country. I think in general we like to hear and learn new languages.

When I hear languages I don't understand, sometimes I feel weird not being able to understand the differences in language and communication. Still, at the same time, it is incredibly fascinating to hear and think about. I feel this way because of an inclination to know things, which confuses not knowing, and the fascination with alternative forms of linguistic communication where two different words in different languages mean the same or similar things.

 @9LKTXQQfrom Oregon  answered…1yr1Y

I am intimidated and feel slightly ignorant. I grew up in a country where we prioritize our language and don't account for the billions of other people on the planet.

 @9K4LJY7from Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

When i hear languages I don't understand I feel curious about what they are saying, and I wonder if when I speak they feel the same way.

 @9K38XCCSocial Democraticfrom Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

Well, I speak several languages and I try to be as comfortable as I can in such instances.
