Not decriminalizing in the traditional sense. For drugs such as hard opioids there should be mandatory rehabilitation, but drugs with medicinal benefits such as marijuana should be fully legalized.

I feel as though we should take a stronger course of action for drug use. For example, allowing those who actually need drugs for medical uses while criminalizing those who abuse the use of drugs.

Yes, more effective methods have proven themselves. However, I'm against the legalisation of hard drugs except hallucinogens (LSD/acid, Mushrooms, Ecstasy/MDMA, ...) Cannabis and other hard drugs that pose little danger to health.
