Should the government increase or decrease military spending?

Neither, we should create a European military defense system instead

In general I would pledge for destroying all weapons worldwide

Leave it but remove our troops from foreign hostile conflicts that are not threatening our countrys safety

Military spending increase or decrease is irrelevant. Spending needs to be more accountably efficient, subject to more IG staff for different aspects of the military, but the VA in particular.

Neither, I am satisfied with the current amount of spending, but decrease the Pentagon budget in half. The budget for the Pentagon is called defense spending while the budget for the military is called military spending. This is why they are different and this is my opinion.

Increase, and better prioritize mental health. Often, military members' psychiatrists are told not to diagnose them with conditions they have, because then the government would be required to pay to help them with the disorder, and the budget isn't big enough for that.

The government exists to protect our borders, not fight foreign wars. When we limit our military to that task, we will be able to reduce their budget. It should always be high enough so that our military can effectively protect us from foreign actors who wish to do us harm.

They should spend enough to keep military maintained and strong but no more unless war is a possibility.
