Yes, and eliminate collective bargaining for police unions

 @8ZTC352 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but limit their bargaining power to things like wages or equipment

 @95VL7BW from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

There should be unions and they should be able to collectively bargain, but the police union system needs to be rebuilt from the ground up with a better culture of cops doing their job and protecting people, and not just protecting cops.

 @8ZKNSCP from Massachusetts  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but replace police unions with a more effective and discipline unit

 @9334YP3answered…3yrs3Y

Yes. The sheriff's department consists of an elected official and his appointed deputies, these cannot and should not be allowed to unionize. Excepting the sheriff's department, all police departments should be abolished, along with their unions, and replaced by civil militias.

Yes, abolish police unions. Especially for misconduct and corrupt law enforcement who work with sex / drug offenders. They allow date rape.

Yes, but in general as unions have become too powerful with collective bargaining, police unions should not have the ability to tone-down misconduct cases. Police offers need to be held accountable justly
