Special lanes for autonomous vehicles separate them from regular traffic, potentially improving safety and traffic flow. Proponents argue that dedicated lanes increase safety, enhance traffic efficiency, and encourage the adoption of autonomous technology. Opponents argue that it reduces road space for traditional vehicles and may not be justified given the current number of autonomous vehicles.

Public transit exists for a reason, I do not believe more lanes would improve anything for anyone besides those very few who are able to utilize this luxury. Therefore, autonomous vehicles shouldn't exist period, and we already have means of transportation beyond a private motor vehicle, it is frankly pointless.

Only in certain areas will autonomous vehicles be viable. As such, I don't consider it to be a focus.
@B2TK4LQ2wks2W
Yes, although I believe they should only make a couple for people in need of one, drunk, pregnant, etc. You should only use this lane if you are not driving or if it is an emergency
@B2T9RPQ 2wks2W
No, it shouldn't allow autonomous vehicles if not safe for all citizens and heavily tested in urban area traffic. Then a designated lane shouldn't be needed
@B2RG9P33wks3W
No, and Autonomous Vehicles should not be allowed on roads.
@9SRMBBD6mos6MO
No, we should not have autonomous vehicles on the road in the first place.
