I dont think it should be criminalized however with excessive truancy there should be an attempt made by the school to find the cause and fix the issue at hand

Depends on reasoning for truancy, ultimately though, it is the parents fault and the kid should not be punished

 @B2928TVfrom Florida  answered…1mo1MO

It shouldn’t be criminalized, but there should still be regulations in place so students can have a proper education.

Partially, the psychotherapy to the child should be applied (you don’t exactly know the reasons why this child does that and from what background does the child come from)

 @B279GJ3answered…2mos2MO

Yes, but have regulations in place ensuring that the child meets the standard levels for education. SEN students should have more support, especially in terms of social security.

I don't think that the government should have much of a stance on whether it should be legal or not. It should be by the school district.

 @9LZHSM2from Iowa  answered…10mos10MO

Depends on students background and what they are dealing with, education aside, in their personal life

 @9LJSLM6from Idaho  answered…10mos10MO

No, there should be help and assistance provided to truant students who are struggling with issues such as health problems or living situations.
