I dont think it should be criminalized however with excessive truancy there should be an attempt made by the school to find the cause and fix the issue at hand

Yes, but only if the students are receiving home schooling, which seems to be banned in Germany for some bizarre reason.

Depends on reasoning for truancy, ultimately though, it is the parents fault and the kid should not be punished

Partially, the psychotherapy to the child should be applied (you don’t exactly know the reasons why this child does that and from what background does the child come from)

Yes, but have regulations in place ensuring that the child meets the standard levels for education. SEN students should have more support, especially in terms of social security.

I don't think that the government should have much of a stance on whether it should be legal or not. It should be by the school district.
